School Life

What a week at EVO actually looks like — beyond the timetable.

Co-curricular

Over 30 club options

Clubs are not an add-on. Leadership, community service, creativity and independence are structured into the week.

Sport

Team and individual sport across the campus facilities, with inter-school fixtures. #TeamEVO spirit — big energy, big goals.

Arts & performance

Visual arts, drama, and music on drums, guitar, keyboard, synthesizers and voice, leading to public showcases.

Service & leadership

Student council, community service projects and peer mentoring — service as action across MYP and DP.

Technology & STEM

Robotics, coding, design and student-led maker projects.

Clubs run in blocks and rotate every eight weeks, so students try several across a year. Recent offerings have included Chess Club and Construction Club alongside sport, the arts and STEM.

Flagship programme

Model United Nations

Students take a country, learn its position on a real question before the United Nations, and then have to defend it in front of a room — in a second language, under time, against people who disagree.

MUN suits EVO precisely because nothing in it can be memorised the night before. It asks for research, for listening, and for the composure to change your own mind in public when the argument goes against you. Delegates prepare position papers, write and amend resolutions, caucus, negotiate and vote — and then do it again at inter-school conferences across Cairo and abroad.

What a delegate does

  • Researches a country and writes its position paper
  • Speaks in formal debate and in caucus
  • Drafts, amends and sponsors resolutions
  • Negotiates across blocs to build a majority
  • Chairs a committee, as an experienced delegate
  • Represents EVO at inter-school conferences
For families already with us

The school day, and everything that runs it.

Bell times, gate arrangements, absence reporting, the behaviour policy, uniform standards, supply lists and canteen menus all live in theCampusnet, behind a parent login. We keep them there deliberately: the daily movements of children are not something a school should publish to the open internet.

  • Bell times and the shape of the day
  • Gate, drop-off and collection arrangements
  • Reporting an absence or a late arrival
  • Uniform standards and supply lists by stage
  • Canteen menus and dietary arrangements
  • The behaviour policy and digital citizenship
